I first met Alex & Maria during their engagement session last year & instantly felt the compassion, respect and kindness they equally shared for one another. There was just this unexplainable ease & softness to them.
And just as their Priest (and dear friend) spoke, “1 Corinthians 13:4-8 Love is patient, love is kind..”
I think many of us already understood just how true this verse is to describe them.
On a beautiful Mid-August day, the Pius High School sweethearts became husband and wife. Gathered in front of their Holy Savior at St. John’s Catholic Church and dearest friends and family, the two day I do.
Following the ceremony, we made our way to Pioneers Park for some outdoor bridal photos.
And before we knew it, it was time for their grand bridal entrance to the reception at Park Center in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Thanks to DJ Joe Cruz and a profound love for Top Gun, their party made the coolest fly by entrance.
Top the night off with an ice cream cake, a game of musical chairs with seminarians being drug across the room, exceptional dance party moves + let’s not forget about that sweet serenade from Alex and his fraternity pals of “You’ve Lost That Loving Feeling” —
The day & evening was perfect. 🤍
